Introducing the first of Burn's regional snowboarding teams: The Burn Units France, featuring three exceptionally talented riders, Olivier Gittler (20), Valérian Ducourtil (23), and Gérôme Mathieu (25). Follow their adventures on youtube.com/burn, facebook.com/burn or right here on burn.com.

Our French Burn Units will shadow the Burn Units elite team, a rider led initiative feat Arthur Longo, Gigi Rüf, Werni Stock and Ståle Sandbech set up to ignite creativity in the sideways standing community. Stay tuned for action from Burn Units in across Europe.

Gérôme Mathieu:
Hometown: Tarbes, France
Since age 9 Mathieu has been ripping it up; seasoned snowboarding pirate and motorcross enthusiast, Gérôme has been making big waves in boarding, recently taking out the 4 star TTR Nissan Stomp-It event.

Olivier Gittler:
Hometown: Grenoble, France
Olivier grew up not far from the snowy resort of Les Deux Alpes and has competed in many a tournament since he started riding competitively some eight years ago. He loves the half-pipe but he's no specialist, showing skills on all terrains and slopes.

Valérian DuCourtil:
Hometown: Grenoble, France
Also hailing from Grenoble, Valérian DuCourtil counts Grenoble local and Burn Units rider Arthur Longo among his closest boarding buddies. A multitalented shredder, he's just finished studies at DUT's Business School and digs all types of music...except techno.
