French all-round aerialist Arthur Longo is on fire. From taking gold at snowboarding's most prestigious contest - The Arctic Challenge - in 2009, plus Rip Curl's Crans Montana Open in Switzerland, he focused on the Olympics last year, representing his nation in the superpipe at the Vancouver Games.

Mentored by fellow Psykopit crew members Mathieu Crepel and Julien Haricot, Longo's a born talent in the pipe, landing lofty airs that have taken him to gold for the FIS World Cup 2010 and on Crepel's own unique Invitational event in Barages, The Pyrenees. But the Deux Alpes born and bred 22-year old is no pipe jock: taught by his Dad to ride when he was just 6 years old, Longo's first love is backcountry - citing Arlberg, Baker and his home Alps as fave spots and that natural terrain is where he's most comfortable.

It's this all-terrain, liquid style that saw Pirate Movie Productions feature him in Hooked, for his first stand out video part.

Expect more scene-stealing video sections and podium placements from the friendly Frenchman soon - as his untapped potential is ready to break out. Determined, talented and ambitious, Longo also always brings his personal brand of light hearted, cheeky humour and an onus on fun - whether at a contest or with film crew.
